Islamic Antiquities and Natural Landmarks Tour - Mecca
Embark on a historical and spiritual journey in the heart of Mecca, where ancient Islamic monuments meet breathtaking natural landmarks, in an experience that combines history and faith.
The tour begins with a visit to the famous Ain Zubayda , the historic canal that extends from Mount Kara to Mecca, which was established by order of Lady Zubayda bint Jafar al-Mansur, wife of the Abbasid Caliph Harun al-Rashid, to remain a witness to the greatness of this engineering and human achievement.
Then you will proceed to Mount Thawr , where the famous Cave of Thawr is located. This cave holds great historical significance in the Prophet's biography, as it served as the hiding place for the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his companion Abu Bakr (may God be pleased with him) for three nights during their migration to Medina. This tour includes the activity of climbing Mount Thawr (if available at the time of the tour - not included in the final price).
Your journey concludes with a visit to Mount Al-Nour and the Cave of Hira , the site where the first verses of the Holy Quran were revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), thus marking the beginning of the eternal Islamic message.
